Weekend Workshop: Woodbury, NY
Rewrite Your Stress Response 10:30AM -1:30PM - Learn to rewrite your unconscious response to stress in this therapeutic practice. Through conscious breath work, structured concentration and practice in moving through perceived “danger” (muscular contraction, unconscious tension), we can learn to shift our unnecessary stress responses so we are no longer subject to our feelings of anxiety and unrest. Leave the class with a deep sense of calm and presence.
Yoga Nidra, Pranayama & Meditation 3:00PM - 5:00PM - An all systems “reboot” to support mental and emotional integration and support you in your daily commitments. Begin with some gentle and deeply effective movements to unwind tight muscles and soothe a stimulated nervous system. Then settle into a supported savasana position to do a long deep relaxing yoga nidra practice that will leave you rejuvenated and centered. It’s said that 30 minutes of yoga nidra is the equivalent of 2 hours of deep sleep!

In this workshop you will learn to isolate, engage and strengthen the large muscle groups in the lower body in order to create the essential stabilization in your hip joints to create freedom in the low back. With a focus on functional movement, we will understand how every we pose we do is actually a full body experience and how the “core” is far more that the muscles in your belly.
Find Freedom in the Upper back, Shoulders and Neck. Learn tools to release the deep postural muscles that get strained from time at a computer, long periods of sitting and time on your feet. Balancing these muscles can alleviate common issues like chronic fatigue, headaches, nerve pain and TMJ and leave the upper body with more freedom and fluidity.
